Vertical Climbed: 79 meters (259 feet)
Vertical Descended: 80 meters
A little tour of the cycle lanes of Crolles. Of no real interest unless you find yourself here, with rollerskis, but I've seen a few people do this route.
The Chemin de la Cote is a fairly quick descent, you need to be able to
turn at the bottom and avoid the cars joining from The Cube but traffic
is really light and at the bottom you pick up a cycle path. From there you can roll as far as ST Microelectronics but at the roundabout I went on the road until I could rejoin the cycle lane at then entrance to ST and the road is moderately busy. Afterwards flat cycle path to the Crolles commercial zone, the main road is easy to cross. However a bit of a curb crossing the rue de Source. After the swimming pool the Chemin des Iles is surfaced just for the dogleg as far as the Pont de Fer. After a mix of cycle lanes and roads but nothing too technical.
Pleasant late autumn afternoon. Almost cold out of the sun. All paths and roads are in good condition.
