I didn't know if le Sappey had opened so took my classic skis with the idea that I could always go up towards Emeindras and make my own tracks. In the end they were preparing the runs when I arrived so all good. A bit soft in some places, the skis could sink in on the descents. I heard a woman had to be taken to hospital on the Sunday following with a broken knee after crashing - but the conditions were not good.
Early season snow, so a bit soft in places. The team were preparing the pistes when I arrived. Basically Emeindras was open from the Foyer and drag lifts.
