I wasn't sure if le Sappey had been pisted. About 5-10cm had fallen overnight. I saw Christophe Imbert at the start but he'd not been up today, pisting had been perfect yesterday though. I wasn't too worried as there wasn't much fresh snow and some other people had had the same good idea as me and taken their classic skis so the track was remade. I headed for Emeindras and made it to the final hairpin in the time limit I'd set (45mins from the car). 300 meters of climbing. When I can skate again I'll try for the col. Legs feeling a bit stronger.
Fresh snow on the tracks. Classic track okay. Had to remove skis for the stream crossing.
