After yesterday's run a gentle tour out to the Mountains of Mont d'Or and the Mont Thou climb from St Romain. This is a very quiet hairpinned road that is never too steep. The climb is about 300 meters V+ from the river at an average of around 7%. It takes (me) 16 minutes from the village. There is a sting in the tail, a 20% plus wall at the end over 120 meters. Mercifully short.
Nice little lunch ride taking about 1h20.
Cold north headwind. Roads in good condition in general, dry and not too many leaves.
