A trip to discover the Promenade du Biezin which is used by busses during matches at the Olympique Lyonnais stadium. It is a really good road surface with about 3.5km of road from the golf course to the stadium. However there is a steep hill at Chassieu but possible to descend on rollerskis and good practice even if my style was a bit cautious (see video). Did some no poles and balance drills but need to do more before the season starts properly. Must be a good spot for people who live nearby and saw another skier. It is possible to do a loop of about 8km on the cycle paths but I only explores a bit to the avenue de France.
Cold and a bit damp. Promenade is a really good road surface, ideal for rollerskiing. A few leaves on the descent to the OL Stadium
