I'd not ridden this loop over the Col de la Poya since pre-lockdown. The first part of the climb is always hard but I've lost a couple of kgs (like a bike upgrade) so it was more pleasant even if the overall time of 39m15s wasn't brilliant. I lost most of the time on the first part of the climb but I was climbing in winter cycling gear on my winter bike so that makes some difference. The climb was very pleasant but the sun was a bit in my face as it is very low. After putting on a jacket at the col it was full speed back to Domene with my second best descent time of 6m40s.
Some wet leaves under trees. Cloud sea has finally cleared so brilliant sunshine, cold but not freezing
