Return to Mont Thou to see if is better on classic rollerskis. Well at least no need to stop to catch breath on the steep sections. Noticed heart rate was not that high and put this down to my classic technique limiting my speed and so keeping HR down. The road is a bit rough on classic skis, which is another issue.
Slippy on the roads, you need to work on weight transfer even to get rollerskis to grip. Muddy on the trails - had to use the fields to the side as it wasn't possible to descend on the paths. Warm. Wind at the summit.
