Another way to explore the hills of Mont d'Or. This time, forming a figure of 8 loop. To be honest, I'm a little tired of cycling the Mont d'Or, so this may be my last long ride in these hills this season. The morning mist had cleared out leaving clear views of the Alps.
It's still a good way to cover 1,100 metres of elevation gain. With climbs, ramps, flat sections (but not too flat) and technical descents. However, you have to be careful on the descents, as there is a lot of traffic on Sundays.
Pleasant temperatures. 10°C in the hills, 14°C in town. Dry, clean roads, except for a few leaves. You can still wear shorts, but for how long?
