A little trip to check the snow conditions. I'd also seen the Chichilaine ski club had made some classic tracks so rather than a ski tour to the Croix de Chamrousse I opted for a bit of classic skiing. Not too easy on the lumpy tracks despite the best efforts of the club but a little warm up for the new season.
About 15cm of fresh snow on lumpy grass, not always easy to ski. Relatively warm in the sun but low cloud had begun to transform the snow.
