It had been raining all day but finally it stopped in the late afternoon. I decided to go and check out the hairpins of Mont Verdun but - like every year - I stumbled on a motorcar race which they run annually at this time. Luckily they'd just finished and were clearing up so I was able to do the climb. A bit cold to be efficient. Not many cyclists as they were better informed than me.
Cloudy, grey and cold. Damp roads in the shade.
