The aim was to climb a bit but not go too far. The first climb up to Croix Rousse was pretty tough to be honest. Then I took a descent that was so steep bikes were banned - but the sign was part way down the slope - like doh! Then I tried a climb up to Croix Rousse again but it was too steep at the half way point, I've done it before but maybe no better form. So I finished with Fourviere and its view of Lyon. In the end it was not very efficient as there are far too many traffic lights. Better to head out of town.
