The Pre Long challenge. My rear tire is shredded and needs changing but I thought I'd give it one last outing on the Pre Long gravel. The road up through Lancey has been gravelled, ok climbing as the cars had made a passage but there was about 10cm depth outside the car tracks. It will be swept on Wednesday, apparently. Things got steep after the Mas Julien, despite having a x32 this time. The gravel section is ok, quite flat really compared to the tarmac. VAM of 722 for the climb, not too bad. Usual slow car drivers on the descent.
Morning ride, around 25C on the climb, so not too hot.
