This is not to be taken lightly as although the base is stable the fresh snow has been accompanied by significant wind which is always a dangerous cocktail. The main danger is over 2000 meters altitude where 30 to 50cm of snow has fallen over the last 24 hours. With the return to sunny conditions during the day on Sunday there may also be some wet snow slides.
