Very hard climb due to bad back and a top gear that didn't engage properly. The road to the power station has been resurfaced for some reason, very smooth now. I climbed via the Mas Julien main road for a change but there is much less shade. 33m40 for the climb with a VAM of 882 (8.5% / 500m) which obviously suits me but is a bit better than recent climbs. For the whole climb to the power station 64m21s , VAM of 884 for 905m of climbing at 9.3%. It is a real killer of a climb though.
Hot, 32C but still wet on the gravel section due to recent tropical rain.
