Flaine boarder's pothole hell
A snowboarder is in a serious but stable condition after a fall into a pothole while off piste in the ski resort of Flaine in the Haute-Savoie. The incident occured mid-morning on the 29/Jan2019. Alerted by friends, the mountain rescue services from Annecy found the 30 year old Ukranian national head down in the rock crevice with his feet blocked by his board and bindings. In a state of cardio-vascular arrest he was given medical treatment at the scene then taken by helicopter to Geneva.
