A skier was injured after being hit by debris from a cornice fall on the east side of Col de la Roche Noire in the Belledonne range.
About 50 skiers were climbing the route at the time of the accident, around 11h45. The cornice was about 10 meters high and broke into dense blocks about the size of cars that ran for 300 meters over a width of 75 meters. Three skiers were caught by the debris. One suffered shoulder injuries and was transported to hospital by helicopter.

At la Grave a female skier from the Hautes Alpes suffered a head injuries after a fall of 150 meters on the north face of the Pan de Rideau. The skier was on a steep section of the descent at the time. She was rescued by the PGHM helicopter based at alpe d'Huez and taken to hospital in Grenoble.
