A "before work" but more importantly a "before it gets too hot" tour, Almost exactly the same date as last year and same time and power, more or less. I went this way as it was a bit chilly when I started and the climb has a reasonable amount of shade. Lovely colours on the Chartreuse forests and cliff faces.
43m for the 650m climb giving a VAM of 910m/h, not too bad but it felt like riding in toffee today with the heat and humidity.
Very hot, 22C at 7.30am. The descent to St Nazaire is becoming a bit broken in places due to subsidence.
