A little afterwork. I started around 16h30 from the car park at 1190 meters but it was no doubt possible to tour from much lower down, from the main road to St Pancrasse at 1000 meters even. After speeding up to the base of Pravouta I lost the climbing trail and had to cross some drifts thigh deep in places. Just by the summit ridge I was caught by another skier and as it was getting pretty dark we agreed to ski down together.
30cm at the car park. 60cm under the summit with a base. Powder, heavy on the wind exposed slope, lighter close to the shelter of the forest. Road was pisted by the passage of skiers. Some drifting under a moderate breeze.
