I got this e-mail from the owners of Glencoe mountain (resort?) in Scotland, it’s a real shame that the place is struggling to survive, I would rate it as the best skiing in Scotland, so perhaps if any Russian oligarchs are reading, they might be interested in bailing us out?.........

One chance in a lifetime:

Glencoe Mountain is currently for sale. The owner would prefer that snow enthusiasts take over. The staff and ski patrol believe that running Glencoe as a club is the way forward. That way we own it together. We have a chance to make this happen now. We need to gauge the real level of support for a club. On average, annual membership would be £500. Mountain biking, skiing and we hope to offer a whole lot more.

We need to act before the end of the month, so please respond no later than Monday 27th April, 2009. Remember genuine pledges only please to .

Let’s keep the dream alive.

Thanks,

Angela and Bobby

The OP posted on the 30th April, but says anyone interested must respond by the 27th April. Is this a mistake? Or are we already too late? How many members are needed? How would the club be run?
