Le Paradis Loop
A small loop starting at Gieres, climbing to Uriage then taking a small but steep climb of some 350 meters at 10% after dog and cat home (SPA) with some steeper ramps in places.

4 Seigneurs Loop via Uriage
The 4S (seigneurs) summit is a classic for road cyclists and MTBers in the area, short, sharp but quiet roads with a great view.

Col de Morêtel, Belledonne, France
With 355m of climbing the Col de Morêtel isn't that much of a challenge but is a welcome alternative to the main road and leads into the Belledonne back roads quite nicely.

Levo - Stresa - Someraro loop
Rode up to Levo. Down to Stresa then returned via the climb to Someraro for a fairly quick and efficient 850 meters of climbing. You can find water at Levo on the main road.

Tour des Crets de Prabert
Starting from the hamlet of Lnagenet follow the road to Rouare, la Planta then after some zig-zags the roads flattens. Take a right hander to les Avons to finally reach the Col du Lauteret.

Mont d'Or Tour
The climbs are not too long. Basically 4 climbs of around 300 meters. It starts right in the heart of Lyon in the 9th district but the traffic pretty much goes by the turn for the first climb.

Tour of Mont Rachais
ClimbMont Rachais is a classic for the Grenoblois. I’ve done Mont-Jalla -> Bastille years ago but Mont Rachais means you descend from the very summit of the mountain behind the Bastille.
