Description

The ski resort of Gresse en Vercors is situated in the Vercors area of the Isère department in the Northern Alps region. The lift served area extends from 1250 metres to 1800 metres. There are 18 km of lift served runs. There are 40 km of cross country trails. The resort features a snowpark.

History

Gresse en Vercors celabrated 40 years of downhill skiing in 2006.

Gresse en Vercors is an excellent base for ski touring in the eastern Vercors.

Travel

Nearest Airport(s): Grenoble St Geoirs 1h20, Lyon Saint Exupéry 1h30, Geneva Cointrin 3h00

Road: From Grenoble take the A51 (extended March 2007) to Monestier de Clermont then Gresse en Vercors

Rail: High speed train to Grenoble then rail to Monestier (Gap line). There is a shuttle bus or taxi service (Taxi Bouzac : 00 33 04 76 34 30 81, Taxi Steph : 00 33 06 85 65 14 41).
