Atomic Sugar Daddy

There is a new topsheet for 2008 the Atomic Sugar Daddy but it retains the dimensions that made it an ideal tool for all mountain skiing. It is surprisingly light for its size so could be toured reasonable distances, especially if you stick on a pair of lightweight Dynafit TLT Speed bindings. Coupled with some Garmont Axon boots the Sugar Daddies would give you a great tool for day touring to high mountain powder stashes. The ski is is relatively stiff underfoot with softer tips and tails which makes it turn well in powder and softer snow and even on piste! Skied in a size down for touring it would remain manouverable for gnarlier terrain and trees while the dependable Beta 4 twin chamber chassis will let it blast through the variable snow conditions that can be found away from bashed ski runs. We like the large, depth hardened Dura Edges that won't go dull in the middle of a steep, icy couloir.
