Atomic's Big Daddy was a big hit last season and this year's updated model has the vital statistics of Britney Spears - wide top end and a thick waist. Unlike Britney this gives it even better floatation and high speed stability in deep snow for flat out big mountain skiing. It is built on Atomic's tried and tested Beta 4 twin chamber chassis. This gives excellent torsional rigidity with superb edge grip with a relatively low weight (around 4kg) for the size of ski. Fit it with a pair of Naxo nx21, Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus or Marker Dukes for a go almost anywhere - so long as it doesn't involve more than a vertical kilometer of skinning, freeride tool.
