An English skier has been killed following an accident in one of the couloirs of the Aiguille Rouge in les Arcs. The woman, 38 years old and from London, was skiing at 2600 meters yesterday afternoon when she blew a turn and fell head first down the slope.
After rapidly picking up speed she ended up buried up to her hips. Unable to free herself from the snow she was already in a state of cardio vascular arrest due to suffocation when rescue workers from the PGHM reached the scene of the accident. The victim was skiing with a friend who was suffering from severe shock following the incident.

This post does not contain the full details. The picture you have used is not of the correct area either. It appears they were lower down on a route suitable for there level and were just very unlucky.
