Was there early March (or was it late Feb?) a few years back - couple of days based at Tachedirt hut, skied Tizi n’Likemt and Bou Igenouane, then down to Imlil and up to Neltner Refuge (Toubkal) and skied Toubkal and Akioud. We had awesome conditions, loadsa snow everywhere, but have seen picks from a mate who was there the year previous and it looked very scottish - filled gully-lines of snow to ski on.
Definitely a great experience, mules carrying kit up to the huts, great Moroccan food, really friendly locals. Be aware that you are travelling through effectively a third world country - in Tachedirt the people appear to share their houses with their sheep/chickens, and you will get children begging.
Can recommend a local guide if you like, local knowledge definitely good + his brother runs a gite near Imlil and can organise cooks, mules etc.
Huts VERY basic (compared to alpine huts).
Go for it , its an experience you won’t forget in a hurry…
Just don’t drink the orange juice from the stalls in Marrakesh - was like a high-pressure hose simultaneously from both ends...lucky we stopped there on the way home not the way out…
