The Rossignol B4 is effectively last season's B3 with only the B Squad above it in the hierarchy. Rossignol's volume manufacturing means that it is available in a wide variety of lengths. We tested a 185cm ski. This feels quite big due to the width: 122-94-115mm, about average for its class. The ski works well in crud and grips on icy. It is also surprisingly good in short radius turns (the quoted turn radius is 25.6 meters) and in long cruising curves. As you approach its natural turn radius we found that it has a tendency to do its own thing, that is, carve 26meter radius turns. The ski is reasonable stable at speed. The ski works well enough on large wide pistes but would not be the first choice in the bumps. You may lot care for big producers like Rossi but it is hard to fault their design and technical prowess. Oh and we also liked the green colour scheme.
