A bit of feedback from the field. Absolutely no worries so far with the bindings. As you can see I took the version without the heel turret because I have never climbed with this level of elevation. The flat plate works great for rotating the heel and is much easier than either the Comfort or TLT Speed. We’ll see what the Radical brings us next year.

The ski crampon holder is still a bit stiff (as you can see in the videos).

The advantage of the heel turret is you can use it with a pole to rapidly flip between tour and ski mode (no doubt Dynafit will tell us not to do this).

The binding is very close to the Dynafit in the basic design and I know this has surprised a few people compared with say the ATK Race, Trab 2 or Onyx which are much bigger departures.

So what’s that, two season on them I think. They have been solid, no technical issues with them. I use the Dynafit “springy” leashes. Brakes are supposed to be out this season but I’ve not spoken to Plum since last November. I may seem them early December.

I find them slightly harder to engage the toe piece compared to the Dynafit TLTs. This is due to the slightly more pronounced “fork” that holds the toe piece levers and the fact it is shiny. This may vary depending on boots. The heel adjustment has worked great - that’s the sliding plate thing the heel unit bolts onto. No issues and a simpler solution than the Dynafit heel piece.

I read about the Teton Gravity people breaking heel pins but I’ve had no issues myself.
