The ski resort of Les Menuires is situated in the Vanoise area of the Savoie department in the Northern Alps region. It is part of the Trois Vallées ski domain. The lift served area extends from 1850 metres to 2850 metres. There are 160 km of lift served runs within the resort and over 600km in the Three Valleys area. There are 28 km of cross country trails. The resort features a snowpark. The resort has been modernising heavily and has recently been awarded ISO 14 001 certification for environmental management of its ski lift system.
