This route is directly above the runs of Peisey-Valandry. The route is avalanche prone, the undulating terrain is subject to cross-loading under the influence of prevailing winds. From the summit of the Aiguille Grive follow the south-west ridge that leads to the face. The face is open and less steep further along the ridge
