Description

The Ski Meije ski domain is situated in the Hautes-Alpes department just to the west of the Col du Lautaret. It includes the following unlinked ski resorts:

• Col du Lautaret
• Le Chazelet
• La Grave
• Villar d'Arene

It is possible to access les Deux Alpes from la Grave via a drag lift and walk or snowcat ride. The large resort of Serre-Chevalier is also close by. The closest rail link is Briançon but the 2000 meter Lautaret pass can close in poor weather. The nearest airports are Turin, again on the other side of the Lautaret pass and Grenoble St Geoirs.
