The 1080 is now a classic and excellent all-rounder. You will even see them mounted with touring bindings. However the 1080 Foil is let down by vibration problems, both on hardpack and on landing from jumps. The ski turns well if the binding is mounted backwards but this will make riding switch harder. Swings and roundabouts. Apart from the vibrations the Foil is excellent on and off-piste where its surface area gives it good floatability.
