K2 Coomba

Gear > Ski > Freeride > K2 Coomba

Built as a homage to the late Doug Coombs (link) The Coomba features a progressive sidecut. All the profits will go to Doug’s family and the American mountain guide’s association. The ski is light and very soft and is a very easy ski in powder snow. It is even light enough to climb or tour without leaving you bushed after a few hundred meters of vert. On hard snow you quickly find the limits of the Coomba. Not a ski for the steep or short radius carved turns.

Reviews

  • Everything is allowed including cliff hucks as long as the snow stays soft and deep. For good and not to heavy skiers looking for a pure powder tool. - Ski Labo
