Developed for Fischers team riders the Watea is built using I-Beam technology: grooves in the wood core make the ski light and I shaped carbon fibre strips add stability. The Watea is a good all rounder considering its width. It is easy to ski and comfortable and turns easily even in crud. The shovel is a bit soft for skiers who like going very fast, especially over uneven ground. The ski grips well on hard snow and remains manouverable.
