The Garmont Megastar Mg is an updated version of the Megaride Mg women's ski touring boot. It features adjustable 19° and 24° forward lean plus a ski/walk switch for walking and uphill skinning. It features the new Gfit3 women's specific liner. This is a warm, light custom thermoformable liner for maximum comfort when skinning and skiing. The boot has a reinforced tongue and double injected cuff to give enough stiffness to power modern freerando skis while the Pebax shell remains light enough for multi-day tours. The boot suits both step-in touring bindings and lightweight Dynafit bindings. The lightweight magnesium buckles have ice-breaker pins which we think are a particularly good idea. The splines on the pins cut through ice that has formed on the clip during winter tours.
