High speed skiers will appreciate the extra damping, the old Verdicts were felt to be too noisy. On the snow turn radius is noticably longer compared to the Black Diamond KiloWatt, it is a less agile ski. The lighter 170cm model (3.7kg) may attract some tourers otherwise one for the slackcountry crowd.
