We’re just back from our Winter break, a week’s off-piste skiing in Val d’Isere and Tignes. We spent the week with Alpine Experience, found time to see some old friends, sample some of Val’s excellent restaurants and even did some cross-country.
Of particular interest to the team were Henry Schniewind’s avalanche talks held in Dicks Tea Bar. It is five years since we visited Val and the resort has got chic’er, swankier and more expensive but the skiing remains excellent.
