The Pyrenees have been enjoying good early season conditions. Three resorts (Ax, Les Angles and Formigueres) are already open. Le Tourmalet was due to join them this weekend but has delayed the start to its season following the tragic death of an employee after an accident involving a snowmobile on Monday. The man was aged 46 and leaves a wife and two children.
