If you have bought one of the new Snowpulse Lifebag avalanche security devices there is an important safety notice on the Snowpulse website. Snowpulse reports 1500 deployments, both in training and real avalanche incidents, with a 99.5% success rate. However that means there were still around 7-8 deployment failures.
Snowpulse have investigated these and they have concluded that the strength of the Velcro covering the zip on the top of the bag needs to be reduced. This can be done by reducing the working surface area. Less Velcro, less resistance.
If you have bought a Snowpulse Lifebag please check out the website for more information.
you might want to retake gradeschool math. They apparently had 7.5 failures, not 75.
