New babies from Dynastar to be unveiled at the January ISPO in Munich. A 2600 gram wide ski with good grip for the steeps. Ski legend Pierre Tardivel and friends have helped with the development. The ski is creating quite a buzz in the French ski touring world.
Dynastar have developed a number of skis in the Legend series which are oriented towards freerando type skiing. Light, relatively straight for grip and rigid. The new Altitrail Pierra Menta Pro showed what might be possible. Although this is a competition ski, weighing just 945 grams in 169cm, it is solid enough to work in difficult snow conditions and has been adopted by day to day skiers. What if Dynastar could work the same magic into a slightly larger ski?

Anybody have any comments about how they compare with BD havocs? Apart from being somewhat lighter.

Do you know what it’s going to be called and when it will be available in the shops?
Thanks, Ian.

The ski will be announced at the January ISPO in Munich so I guess we will have to wait until then for more information.

Are these skis the altitrail powder that have appeared on the Dynastar web site? The widths are similar but not exact.
