Bad news from the Tetons where Steve was a well known back country skier and blogger. His blog and videos were inspirational. He will be missed. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
I’ve followed RandoSteve’s blog and writings. He was over in Europe in 2006 for the Italian World Championship of Ski Mountaineering where he represented the US in the relay event. A loss to the ski mountaineering community. I’m shocked but a reminder that it is often the guys who live and ski most in the mountains who are most at risk.
