A new book by the glacier expert Amédée Zryd shows the dramatic shrinking of Swiss glaciers some of which have lost 40% of their volume and 50% of their surface area. The photos look a lot more dramatic than those of French glaciers.

I was lookning at the Bossons the other day. It seems to just be hanging on lower down as it has hidden as much in the shade as possible. A bit like me on a summer’s day in Grenoble!
