35 year old ski instructor Oscar Bonsembiante has been killed in the Val di Fiemme while ski touring with two friends. M. Bonsembiante specialized in teaching disabled skiers. The group left the Negritella Hut at 1,700 meters, near Moena for the San Pellegrino pass.

The accident occurred at an altitude of 2,300 meters, just after crossing the Forcella Grande, around 10h50 and was blamed on recent snowfall and high temperatures. The weather was sunny at the time.

Thanks for the information about the Italian avalanche.

A 45 year old ski tourers was killed yesterday morning in the Grisons in the east of Switzerland and another man was seriously injured. The swiss man was climbing the Piz Kesch <http://www.camptocamp.org/summits/37998/fr/piz-kesch> with a group. The two skiers were taken several hundred meters. Other members of the group were able to dig out the victims who were only partially buried but one of the victims had been killed by the slide.
