Description

I finally made it over to Limonest to check out the Mont Verdun climb on rollerskis. This road is closed at the weekends and is not too steep, around 6% max I think. Ideal for a bit of work without being too steep. It is possible to skate 1 and skate 2 (v1, v2) up it as the slope varies between various hairpins. You can redescend on foot via a direct track which is probably a much better idea than skiing down.

Conditions

Warm but not too hot, thundery
