Another wonderful day in the Chartreuse. We climbed by to the Belles Ombres by the eponymous col. Descent by the couloir which was a bit ravaged with "steps". Grrrr ;-( but at the bottom of the steps beautiful bowls interspaced with small cliff bands open for us. Incredible depths of powder. Too good.
Once on the forest trail we headed up to the colde l'alpe and the couloir des Charmilles.
