Vertical Climbed: 475 meters (1,558 feet)
Skated over to the pistes of St Hilaire from the Col de Marcieu. The access piste from the Col to the bottom of the Combe Noire lacked snow cover in places and had been walked on a lot (despite there being separate walking trails, grrr). Snow generally spring like "neve". Reasonably good to skate and nice to ski descending. A few people on the trail. The pistes were still in good condition with little debris.
