Technical

Distance: 10.5 km

Trip Reports

Vertical Climbed: 225 meters (738 feet)

Description

Change of program from doing exercises around the Sagnes green run. Took the start of the Emeindras trail but at the junction with the St Eynard blue loop decided not to continue up but to take this run down by the valley. The snow was very hard in the shade and there was quite a bit of debris on the piste. Given the little ramps to ski down somewhat exciting in places. In the sun the snow was soft and less easy to ski. There was also some bare ground coming through so you had to be a bit careful.

Globally good skating conditions given the warm temperatures (+9C) and the recent high level rain. The alpine ski runs did not look skiable.

Weather: Warm, springlike and sunny.
