Near the top of the valley leave the GR549 to the left and traverse NW to reach another valley under the Bartlett mountain.

At around 1850 meters traverse a steep slope to reach the NW ridge of the Orionde mountain (there is an unguarded refuge not shown on the IGN map) here. Climb the NW ridge to the summit. Descend the other side to a col. Ski the NE then N slopes to rejoins your climbing tracks (avalanche risk from the Bartlett mountain). Descend to the Pont de Pendules.
