Description

The road to le Clos is still open and there were lots of ruts from cars with chains that had driven up so not great to ski down. I skied some of the ridge from Mont Mury to le Mollard, it is a brushwood fest as usual and not fun. Afterwards some nice powder down to le Mollard and the forest trails were skiable although cover is poor below 1600m. A nice late afternoon in the mountains but not fantastic skiing. Lots of powder / facets on north faces which are good to ski. Windblown crust on exposed ridges but easy to avoid.

Weather: Sunny, fairly warm out of the valley. Inversion layer.

Access: Snow covered for final 2km, need snow tires or chains.
