Got the train to St Jean de Maurienne arriving in the early afternoon. A long 2h30 up to the col with a detour. It is a bit of a drag with hard climbing after St Sorlin. Ride down to Allemond was good except for the little climb near the end and I got in a stop on the col du Glandon. Refuelled at the bakery before the long time trial down the valley to Vizille. Battery empty and getting dark at Uriage so got the missus to pick me up :-)
Pleasant in the valleys, still a bit cold higher up. Dry. Some debris on the descent from the Glandon to Allemond. Detour at St Jean d'Arves.
