Description

From Prabert climb to the habert d'Aiguibelle (1740m) then to the NE to the Col de l'Aigleton (2266m). Remove skins and descend East into the Riviers valley to 2140 meters. Reskin and climb to the NE to the lac du Grand Clot (2435m) then turn north into a large bowl, directly ahead is the South Couloir of the Belle Etoile. Climb the final 50 meters to the summit from the col.

Climb: 1570 from the pumping station at 1400m.

Comments on route: Classic long ski tour in the Belledonne range with some skinning and reskinning exercises. The S couloir and E slopes below the Aigleton take the sun - take care with timing in the spring. Couloir is 40 degrees / 50 meters.
